Now Open Near Roosevelt Towers: Lantern House Vietnamese Restaurant

Want something different for dinner this week? Try Lantern House. This newly opened Vietnamese restaurant has been earning rave reviews from locals who have tried it. They serve up authentic eats that please any palate with different delicacies to taste.

To start, if you love a good spring roll, you’ll want to try their fresh summer rolls filled with your choice of shredded pork or pork and shrimp, combined with vermicelli, lettuce, mint, cucumber, and pickled vegetables. If you’re more of a fried food lover, try the shrimp tempura or imperial crispy rolls. For something fresh to cleanse your palate before your meal, try the green papaya salad. The entree options are plentiful, so to choose it’s good to decide if you’re in the mood for noodles, rice, or soup. That will lead you in the right direction. If you answered soup, try a bowl of pho. Each bowl is brimming with chicken or beef broth, noodles, fresh chopped vegetables, and your choice of meat. If you like noodles, try the crispy egg noodles with veggies and tofu or shrimp, beef, and veggies. This is very traditional Vietnamese and you probably haven’t tried it before! For those interested in rice, the grilled beef short ribs on rice is a great option.
